Join the Ball Crew at the Koser Jewelers Tennis Challenge!

Get on the court and be part of the excitement during the Landisville Pro Circuit. Youth (10+) and adults are welcome—just bring a basic understanding of tennis rules and scoring.

Cost: $25 per person
Includes 2 T-shirts, 1 hat, and a meal during each shift.

Morning, afternoon, and full-day shifts are available. Ball Crew members should bring a refillable water bottle and wear white shorts/skirt and white socks.

SwimAmerica Program 

Mark your calendar now. Registration for the Hempfield recCenter’s SwimAmerica program opens April 13 at 8:00 AM, and many classes reach capacity shortly after registration begins. If you’re planning to enroll your child this year, be ready to secure your spot right when registration opens. Don’t wait—set a reminder and be ready on April 13.


Celebrate Earth Day with a Walk in Nature

Join us on April 22 for a special Earth Day Walk at Lake Grubb Nature Park as we take time to appreciate the beauty of our local environment. This guided walk will explore the park’s trails while highlighting native plants, wildlife, and the importance of protecting the natural spaces in our community.

It’s a great opportunity to get outside, learn something new, and celebrate Earth Day with friends, family, and fellow nature lovers.

This program is free and open to the community, but registration is required.

Urban Air Spirit Night: Join us at Urban Air on TODAY from 4 pm to 8 pm for the Landisville Elementary Centers Spirit Night. 20% of all passes purchased that evening will benefit the Landisville PTO. Please make sure to bring along the flyer your student will receive this week. Urban Air is offering $5 off the Platinum Pass (only $34.99 on 3/12 ONLY) for LIC and LPC students. Socks must be purchased separately. Encourage your child to wear their Fit Walk t-shirt to show school spirit.

The Hempfield Indoor Color Guards and Indoor Percussion Ensemble will be hosting a show at HHS in the Buchanan Gym on Saturday, March 14th. The show starts at 3 p.m., with Hempfield teams performing at 3:07 p.m., 4:04 p.m., and 6:42 p.m.

Pre K Counts Flyer

Enrollment night for Owl Hill Learning Academy’s Pre-K Counts program is Monday, March 23, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Landisville Intermediate Center. 

Owl Hill Learning Academy offers the Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts program for Hempfield School District students who turn three years of age on or before September 1, qualify based on income and family size, and meet the program eligibility requirements. 

*Please bring a month’s worth of pay stubs or W-2 for all working adults in the household for proof of income.

The program runs Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., and will follow the HSD calendar. 

Materials and breakfast or lunch are provided at no cost to families. Transportation is the family's responsibility, as no busing is provided for this program.

Elementary Families,

You’re invited to a Family Math Night, on March 30, 2026, at 6:30 pm at Landisville Intermediate Center, where parents and guardians are invited to attend sessions to learn more about the math strategies your students are learning within our district math curriculum, while students play math games under the supervision of teachers and high school students.
